Requirements
- Expertise in real-time media, specifically WebRTC and streaming.
- Proven experience building and maintaining cross-platform applications (browser, desktop, mobile).
- Deep understanding of media pipelines, native protocols, and integration with third-party conferencing platforms.
- Strong leadership skills, including experience mentoring engineers and managing team dynamics.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted tools for coding, debugging, and prototyping.
- Ability to architect scalable solutions that balance performance and user experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in environments with limited network control.
- Strong technical communication skills to lead architectural reviews.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of four engineers, managing 1:1s and setting technical standards.
- Drive the technical direction and architecture for the end-to-end video conferencing path.
- Solve complex problems related to media pipelines, native protocols, and cross-platform clients.
- Improve the user experience for screen sharing and meeting participation across all surfaces.
- Integrate Airtame with external platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Webex.
- Advance the team's AI-assisted development workflows and tooling.
- Optimize real-time quality and stability across varied network conditions.
