Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, finance operations, or a related accounting function.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Xero and QuickBooks Online.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with accounts receivable and collections.
  • Excellent attention to detail for reconciliations and data validation.
  • Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with executives and U.S.-based clients.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle concurrent workstreams.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and escalate risks appropriately.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bank, PayPal, payroll, and other financial reconciliations to ensure accurate records.
  • Maintain accurate accounting information in CRM records including invoices, contract values, and payment status.
  • Manage accounts receivable and collections by tracking and following up on overdue invoices.
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries regarding deal status, invoices, and payment history.
  • Support invoicing automation initiatives and troubleshoot issues in financial workflows.
  • Manage vendor onboarding and registration across various payment platforms.
  • Monitor client payment portals for invoice approvals, holds, and revalidation requirements.
  • Maintain cash-flow forecasts and prepare 1099 and year-end documentation.
  • Contribute to the migration from QuickBooks Online to Xero.
  • Handle confidential financial data and maintain secure payment-verification practices.
