Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, finance operations, or a related accounting function.
- Hands-on proficiency with Xero and QuickBooks Online.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong experience with accounts receivable and collections.
- Excellent attention to detail for reconciliations and data validation.
- Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
- Ability to communicate confidently with executives and U.S.-based clients.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle concurrent workstreams.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and escalate risks appropriately.
Responsibilities
- Perform bank, PayPal, payroll, and other financial reconciliations to ensure accurate records.
- Maintain accurate accounting information in CRM records including invoices, contract values, and payment status.
- Manage accounts receivable and collections by tracking and following up on overdue invoices.
- Respond to stakeholder inquiries regarding deal status, invoices, and payment history.
- Support invoicing automation initiatives and troubleshoot issues in financial workflows.
- Manage vendor onboarding and registration across various payment platforms.
- Monitor client payment portals for invoice approvals, holds, and revalidation requirements.
- Maintain cash-flow forecasts and prepare 1099 and year-end documentation.
- Contribute to the migration from QuickBooks Online to Xero.
- Handle confidential financial data and maintain secure payment-verification practices.
