Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Active state teaching license in Florida and/or Indiana in Physics or Physical Science (grades 6-12).
- Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings.
- Comfortable with the unique demands of a live online classroom.
- Confident and engaging on camera.
- Ability to teach live for five (5) or more consecutive hours per day.
- Hands-on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software.
- Data-informed approach to adjusting live instruction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and self-directed with effective time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day, every scheduled instructional day.
- Use student performance data to personalize instruction, identify learning gaps, and adapt instructional approach.
- Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work and maintain accurate records.
- Build relationships with students and families through professional, proactive communication.
- Collaborate with school partners and colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality student support.
