Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Active state teaching license with an endorsement in Social Science, grades 6-12.
- Preferred licensure in Idaho, Alabama, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and/or Indiana.
- Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings.
- Comfortable with the unique demands of a live online classroom.
- Ability to teach live on camera for five (5) or more consecutive hours per day.
- Hands-on experience with online learning platforms and virtual instruction tools.
- Proficiency with standard productivity software.
- Strong data analysis skills for adjusting instruction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and self-directed with effective time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day.
- Use student performance data to personalize instruction and identify learning gaps.
- Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work and maintain accurate records.
- Build genuine relationships with students and families through proactive communication.
- Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to support student learning.
