Requirements
- Strong production experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Proven track record of shipping and maintaining real user-facing software.
- Comfortable moving between UI work, API design, and data modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to scope work, break down ambiguous problems, and execute.
- Strong judgment about quality, trade-offs, and shipping speed.
- Clear communication skills with non-engineering stakeholders.
- Fluency with modern AI-assisted development workflows.
- US-based and able to work as a full-time employee.
Responsibilities
- Build student-facing features end to end across our React front-end and Node.js/TypeScript back-end, from initial scoping through production and iteration.
- Own your work all the way through, taking responsibility for design review, testing, release quality, and what happens after the deploy.
- Shape the product, not just implement it by partnering with Product and Design to pressure-test ideas.
- Improve shipping velocity and quality by strengthening testing, QA, and release practices.
- Contribute to engineering practices and tooling, sharing experience from previous roles to help the team scale.
- Collaborate closely with a small, senior team where code review is a real conversation.
- Define your role by pitching in across infrastructure, data analysis, or undefined technical areas to drive impact.
