Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in fund operations, back-office operations, or related functions in an asset management firm, hedge fund, or fund administrator.
- Hands-on ownership of monthly NAV production for at least one fund, including position, cash, and transaction reconciliation.
- Strong fund accounting experience including fund books, investor statements, and month-end close activities.
- Working knowledge of asset management trade lifecycle and settlement processes.
- Practical experience with management company financials (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping).
- Experience with investor operations including subscriptions, redemptions, and investor onboarding.
- C1 or higher English proficiency under the CEFR.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a lean, distributed team with high accountability.
- Experience with fund administration platforms (e.g., Juniper Square, Allvue, Carta, SS&C, Advent Geneva) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate monthly Net Asset Value calculations for multiple custom investment funds.
- Reconcile fund positions, cash balances, transactions, and other relevant records.
- Maintain accurate fund books, records, accounting files, and systems of record.
- Redesign and improve NAV production workflows to support increasing fund complexity.
- Transition NAV and reconciliation processes from outsourced providers to in-house management.
- Perform bookkeeping and internal financial reporting for management company activities.
- Process investor subscriptions, redemptions, and onboarding documentation.
- Respond to Limited Partner inquiries and support investor documentation requests.
