Requirements

  • 3–4 years of professional Python development experience.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Jenkins or comparable CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience developing automation frameworks, software tools, or scripts for QA or Engineering.
  • Practical experience with source control, including pull requests, branching, and tagging.
  • Strong debugging capabilities across software, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including root-cause analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and balance competing priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, JIRA, Linux, Docker, or GUI libraries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Python automation tools, test frameworks, and scripts that enable efficient functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Partner with QA, Engineering, DevOps, and other internal teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable, maintainable automation solutions.
  • Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and jobs using Groovy, Python, and supporting scripts.
  • Monitor automated test executions, investigate failures, support root-cause analysis, and communicate results and recommended actions.
  • Transform test, automation, and development data into clear, actionable information for technical teams and leadership.
  • Represent QA during enterprise tool changes by assessing testing impacts and identifying potential risks.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to QA team members and mentor Co-op students.
