Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, enterprise architecture, or technology consulting.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating Microsoft Azure environments.
- Proven expertise architecting enterprise-scale Azure solutions across networking, identity, security, governance, compute, and platform services.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Azure Monitor.
- Experience designing hybrid-cloud, multi-subscription, and highly available architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
- Strong understanding of cloud operations, observability, incident management, and ITIL principles.
- Experience leading customer-facing architecture engagements and communicating with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Required Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certification.
- At least one additional relevant certification, such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers, guiding Azure strategy, architecture, governance, modernization, security, and operational maturity.
- Lead architecture discussions and solution reviews across Azure networking, identity, security, governance, compute, storage, monitoring, and platform services.
- Design and review enterprise Azure architectures involving Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall, private endpoints, and load balancing.
- Help customers establish scalable Azure Landing Zones and governance frameworks using Management Groups and Azure Policy.
- Provide technical leadership for managed environments by assessing performance, reliability, security, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Guide the use of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud for operational visibility.
- Lead complex troubleshooting, root cause analyses, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Mentor consultants and engineers, promote best practices, and contribute to service offerings.
