Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in portfolio management, trading operations, investment management, or a similar field
  • Series 65 license (preferred; required for advanced positions)
  • Experience with portfolio management, rebalancing, or trading systems (preferred)
  • Familiarity with trading/rebalancing tools, UMA platforms, and custodial platforms (e.g., Fidelity, Schwab, Pershing) (preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to analyze large data sets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain internal asset allocation model portfolios and equity SMA strategies across multiple client accounts
  • Monitor client portfolios for model drift, cash needs, and allocation tolerance thresholds
  • Initiate and execute portfolio rebalancing activities to maintain alignment with assigned models
  • Oversee the seamless implementation of new accounts into model portfolios and investment strategies
  • Monitor portfolio activity to ensure adherence to investment guidelines and model objectives
  • Coordinate with trading, operations, and wealth teams to support portfolio maintenance and workflow efficiencies
  • Maintain and update accurate portfolio, account, and model data within portfolio management and trading systems
  • Provide operational oversight for UMAs and custodial platforms, including Fidelity, Schwab, and Pershing
  • Identify and implement opportunities for workflow improvement, automation, scalability, and operational efficiency
  • Support the ongoing development and enhancement of internal portfolio management processes and procedures
