Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in portfolio management, trading operations, investment management, or a similar field
- Series 65 license (preferred; required for advanced positions)
- Experience with portfolio management, rebalancing, or trading systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with trading/rebalancing tools, UMA platforms, and custodial platforms (e.g., Fidelity, Schwab, Pershing) (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyze large data sets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain internal asset allocation model portfolios and equity SMA strategies across multiple client accounts
- Monitor client portfolios for model drift, cash needs, and allocation tolerance thresholds
- Initiate and execute portfolio rebalancing activities to maintain alignment with assigned models
- Oversee the seamless implementation of new accounts into model portfolios and investment strategies
- Monitor portfolio activity to ensure adherence to investment guidelines and model objectives
- Coordinate with trading, operations, and wealth teams to support portfolio maintenance and workflow efficiencies
- Maintain and update accurate portfolio, account, and model data within portfolio management and trading systems
- Provide operational oversight for UMAs and custodial platforms, including Fidelity, Schwab, and Pershing
- Identify and implement opportunities for workflow improvement, automation, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Support the ongoing development and enhancement of internal portfolio management processes and procedures
