Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of progressive general accounting experience.
- Prefer experience in a software, SaaS, or technology-enabled environment.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close best practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based ERP systems (NetSuite preferred, Sage Intacct, or similar).
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to work with large data sets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, and open to continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries, including accruals, amortization, equity, and intercompany activity.
- Draft GAAP-compliant financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve identified discrepancies.
- Manage the fixed asset ledger, including capitalization and depreciation.
- Review accounts payable coding for GL classification and cost center accuracy.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations.
- Support revenue and deferred revenue accounting.
- Assist with external and internal audits and regulatory requests.
- Drive process improvement and system optimization initiatives.
