Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software-development experience, including team technical direction and engineering mentorship.
- Deep professional proficiency in C#/.NET, ASP.NET Blazor, and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong production experience maintaining React and TypeScript applications.
- Demonstrated experience modernizing, migrating, or retiring applications while preserving business continuity.
- Experience designing ASP.NET Core APIs and integration patterns using SQL Server, identity, and Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience with Azure observability, release engineering, secure development, and CI/CD.
- Ability to decompose complex technical initiatives and manage dependencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on Autodesk Revit experience and familiarity with AEC industry workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related engineering discipline preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the team's primary technical decision-maker for solutions built with C#/.NET, ASP.NET Blazor, Microsoft Azure, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Produce durable architecture decision records, system diagrams, API contracts, and implementation plans.
- Own the technical health and migration strategy for transitional React applications, including defect resolution and security maintenance.
- Decompose complex features and migrations into controlled increments with clear acceptance criteria and rollback plans.
- Own team-level readiness for Azure-hosted releases, including deployment planning, observability, and incident investigation.
- Set secure engineering and quality standards, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding practices.
- Coach engineers through design reviews, pairing, and code reviews to multiply team capability.
