Requirements

  • 5+ years of compensation experience, ideally in a fast-growing or global organization or a consulting firm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and develop evidence-based recommendations.
  • Confident use of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data modeling.
  • Proven ability to manage compensation processes or projects from planning through implementation.
  • Clear communication of complex topics in writing and conversation.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with HR Business Partners and business leaders.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, independent judgment, and follow-through when managing changing priorities.
  • Experience with compensation surveys and market data (plus).
  • Experience with equity administration platforms (plus).
  • Experience with international compensation, executive compensation, or pay equity (plus).

Responsibilities

  • Support annual compensation processes, including merit, promotion, and equity cycles, from planning through completion.
  • Validate compensation data, maintain accurate models, and prepare analyses, reports, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate new-hire, promotion, and internal-move equity awards with Finance, Legal, Accounting, and relevant People teams.
  • Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, job evaluation, and internal equity analyses.
  • Provide thoughtful, responsive compensation guidance to HR Business Partners and business leaders.
  • Support projects focused on process improvement, pay equity analysis, program documentation, and the development of tools and templates.
  • Handle sensitive employee and compensation information with care and discretion while identifying opportunities to improve process efficiency, consistency, and quality.
