Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in a public-facing writing role (PR, communications, journalism, content marketing, or wealth management marketing).
- Demonstrated ability to write publishable copy on a deadline.
- Portfolio of published or placed work.
- Comfort interpreting and relaying data accurately (e.g., percentage vs point, median vs mean).
- Working fluency with spreadsheets and ability to extract stories from raw datasets.
- Familiarity with personal finance, fintech, wealth management, or financial advisory subject matter.
- Experience maximizing exposure and engagement on LinkedIn and X.
- Familiarity with LLMs for research, drafting, editing, and workflow automation.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals related to earned backlinks and domain authority.
- Basic video and graphic editing skills using tools like Canva.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Write several original data studies per month from hypothesis through final draft.
- Pitch data studies to trade, financial, and consumer press and track placements.
- Edit data studies produced by team members for accuracy, clarity, and pitch-readiness.
- Track comments and feedback across the web and work with Compliance to draft replies.
- Facilitate online dialogue among financial advisor customers in forums like Reddit.
- Own content creation, publishing, and performance tracking for X and LinkedIn.
- Adapt data studies and company news into channel-native formats.
- Monitor competitor announcements, trade press narratives, and regulatory developments.
