Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Strong focus on native mobile development.
- Proficiency in native Android development using Kotlin.
- Experience implementing moderately complex features and algorithms.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Competence in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
- Ability to communicate technical details to stakeholders and product managers.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Shape next-gen features and execute the post-MVP vision for the Olo mobile app.
- Plan feature roadmaps and contribute to both iOS and Android codebases.
- Develop small-to-medium features independently and own moderately complex tasks.
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with Product teams to refine requirements and align technical solutions with business needs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and monitor production services.
- Contribute to team ceremonies and assist in unblocking team members.
- Participate in on-call duties as assigned.
- Utilize AI coding agents like Claude Code to optimize development workflows.
