Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically focused on native mobile development.
- Advanced proficiency in native Android mobile development using Kotlin.
- Experience independently designing and implementing complex algorithms and architectures.
- Skill in managing and improving CI/CD processes.
- Hands-on experience using tools like GitHub Actions.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.
- Strong emphasis on automation for testing and deployment.
- Leadership skills such as mentoring peers and leading technical discussions.
- Experience collaborating effectively across teams to deliver solutions.
Responsibilities
- Shape next-gen features and execute the post-MVP vision for the Olo app.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Address technical debt by prioritizing resolution alongside feature development.
- Lead complex feature development from concept to delivery.
- Conduct code reviews and set quality standards for the team.
- Partner with Product and other stakeholders to refine requirements.
- Monitor and maintain services in production, resolving critical issues.
- Participate in the architecture and design of distributed systems.
- Improve development processes, tooling, and deployment pipelines.
- Participate in on-call duties.
