Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
- ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting positions.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
- Strong understanding of EU taxation and financial management.
- Experience dealing with external auditors.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fixed-term, maternity cover role for approximately nine months.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records in Microsoft Dynamics with accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile data between IT systems and resolve discrepancies.
- Process payroll ensuring compliance with tax and labour regulations.
- Review VAT returns prepared by outsourced firms.
- Close accounts timely and prepare or review financial statements.
- Support annual audit processes and prepare audit deliverables.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers.
- Participate in automation projects as required.
