Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in facilities, design, engineering, construction, or project management.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex commercial workplace projects and multi-phase initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial building systems, construction methods, and project controls.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Demonstrated expertise managing budgets, forecasts, procurement, and operational turnover.
- Working knowledge of environmental management, high-performance building principles, and building codes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience in global, remote environments.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require (generally not exceeding 20%).
- Availability to participate in meetings outside normal business hours for international collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead concurrent workplace design, construction, renovation, and facilities improvement projects from planning to turnover.
- Act as an owner-focused project lead, balancing business objectives, employee experience, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, procurement plans, and risk registers.
- Provide technical leadership across building infrastructure systems including HVAC, electrical, and life safety.
- Translate workplace strategies into global standards, specifications, and repeatable implementation guidelines.
- Embed sustainable design and operating practices to support environmental objectives and ISO 14001 compliance.
- Partner with Corporate Security to integrate physical security and life-safety requirements into projects.
