Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work/military experience.
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehousing.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in an AS9100 or ISO9001 production environment.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- 7 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer preferred.
- Extensive AutoCAD experience.
- Familiarity with time study measurement methods such as MOST.
- Experience in 3PL warehousing, distribution, or fulfillment centers.
- Demonstrated project and resource management experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Data Analytics to determine order profiles, product slotting, and ABC analysis.
- Prepare engineering calculations and documentation for facility sizing, capacity, and zoning.
- Design overall facility layouts and material flow supporting the Concept of Operations.
- Support business development by contributing to RFP responses and presenting to clients.
- Lead detailed engineering processes from conceptualization through implementation, including AutoCAD layout generation.
- Conduct joint planning sessions and gap analysis with clients to manage project scope.
- Prepare WMS configuration documentation and identify interface requirements for new business implementations.
- Manage material handling and automation vendors through schedule, installation, commissioning, and performance testing.
