Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent military/work experience.
- 4 years of engineering experience in supply chain management, logistics, or warehousing.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- 8-10 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer (preferred).
- Experience with advanced data tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Python (preferred).
- Extensive AutoCAD experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of time study measurement, such as MOST (preferred).
- Experience with 3PL warehousing, distribution, or fulfillment centers (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Data Analytics to analyze order profiles, storage application, and slotting.
- Prepare engineering calculations and documents for operating concepts and facility sizing.
- Design facility layout, storage media, and flow supported by appropriate equipment.
- Support business development by assisting with RFP responses and presenting to potential clients.
- Evaluate manual and automated solutions to drive data-based design recommendations.
- Lead detailed engineering processes from conceptualization to implementation.
- Manage material handling and automation vendors through installation and testing.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
