- Track record of coaching, mentorship, and providing clear feedback.
- Excellent ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and design.
- Profound curiosity about language models and AI.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a high-performing engineering team of up to 8 software engineers.
- Coach engineers through technical growth, career development, and increasing ownership.
- Partner with product and design teams to prioritize goals and execute on the roadmap.
- Participate in architectural discussions, system design reviews, and code reviews.
- Identify, hire, and onboard exceptional engineers.
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and team effectiveness.
- Guide the team in the use of coding agents and AI-assisted development.
