Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing and maintaining full-stack production systems at scale.
- Strong technical fundamentals in designing maintainable systems, robust APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience modeling long-running workflows, external dependencies, and complex state transitions.
- Experience building reliable integrations between internal services and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, GIS, asset management).
- Proficiency with modern technology stacks including Python, Go, PostgreSQL, React, Kafka, gRPC, and AWS.
- Strong problem-solving ability to break down ambiguous operational challenges into pragmatic technical solutions.
- Effective use of AI in the development lifecycle while maintaining high engineering quality.
- Ability to communicate clearly and influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.
- Capacity and willingness to travel for onsite visits and stakeholder collaboration.
- Demonstrated results in delivering high-impact software that improves throughput and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical owner for critical operational capabilities including site acquisition, permitting, construction execution, and launch readiness.
- Define APIs, data models, service boundaries, and architectural patterns to ensure long-term maintainability and observability.
- Build resilient integrations across ERP, GIS, and internal project management systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex real-world processes into intuitive planning and execution tools.
- Own production excellence by establishing service-health metrics, SLOs, and incident response procedures.
- Ship production code while driving technical design and mentoring peers on engineering standards.
