Requirements
- Extensive experience managing US multi-state payroll (non-negotiable).
- High proficiency in payroll systems, specifically ADP WorkforceNow or Kronos/UKG.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and Macros.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Flawless English communication skills to explain complex tax issues to US staff.
- Ability to work graveyard hours (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM PHST).
- CPP certification is a massive plus.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor junior payroll staff to ensure accuracy and professional growth.
- Manage the end-to-end payroll lifecycle for 15+ states as the final point of escalation.
- Oversee withholding, filing, and reconciliation for SUTA, FUTA, FICA, and local tax nexus.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for ADP Workforce Now for system integration and data integrity.
- Lead state tax ID registration and manage compliance across a growing US footprint.
- Execute federal and state tax notice responses, garnishments, and year-end W-2/W-3 reconciliations.
- Provide C-suite reporting on audits, 401k, and trends.
- Automate payroll processes for scalable excellence.
