Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data leadership, with at least 5+ years at the Director level.
- Track record of modernizing and unifying complex, multi-source data environments at scale in SaaS or fintech contexts.
- Deep expertise in modern data stack, specifically cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred), lakehouse architectures, and ETL frameworks.
- Strong evidence of application of AI and ML infrastructure, including governance, observability, and semantic standards.
- Proven experience building and leading high-performing technical teams.
- Experience governing data for commercial use, including external data products, consent frameworks, and privacy compliance.
- Expertise in managing data warehouse costs and cost forecasting.
- Experience hiring and managing talent across BI, Analytics, and Data Engineering functions.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive enterprise data strategy, aligning the data roadmap to product, AI, and commercial objectives.
- Lead the architectural convergence of transactional, operational, and analytical data layers into a unified operational backbone.
- Operationalize data governance, including automated classification, RBAC enforcement, and platform SLAs.
- Govern data and AI exposure to ensure security, lineage, and privacy compliance.
- Operationalize external data products for commercialization, partnering with the commercial team to drive revenue.
- Lead and grow the Data Platform Team, fostering ownership across data strategy, engineering, and AI compute.
- Represent the data function at the executive level, contributing to the broader AI and product roadmap.
