Requirements
- 7+ years experience in B2B SaaS software organizations.
- 4+ years experience working in a Product Owner role.
- Required: Energy/utility industry experience and knowledge.
- Experience in transmission planning and/or interconnection processes.
- In-depth understanding of and experience with Agile software development methodology.
- Skilled in both written and verbal communication, bridging technical and business content.
- Experience communicating effectively with executive-level stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and deliverables.
- Ability to adapt to changing internal and external priorities.
- Undergraduate degree in STEM field or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Professional Engineer in Power Systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Translate company and product strategy into a prioritized, outcome-based roadmap.
- Engage with customers to validate concepts and ensure the backlog reflects market problems.
- Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases.
- Lead product solutioning in coordination with design and engineering teams.
- Manage competing stakeholder demands and provide clear, structured communication on status and risks.
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative feedback to report on product area health.
- Mentor less experienced product owners and collaborate on process improvements.
