Requirements
- Bachelors degree.
- Minimum of 8 years of product development experience with 4 years managing projects.
- Experience managing full cross-functional new product development Core Teams.
- Experience launching IVD and/or highly complex RUO products/platforms.
- Familiarity with FDA and CE-IVD regulated product development processes and design controls.
- Proficiency with MS Project for project scheduling and critical path determination.
- Experience in resource planning, resource management, and budget delivery.
- Experience managing projects with external partners or customers.
- Familiarity with PMBOK principles.
- Experience applying Six Sigma principles.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with NGS, oncology, or molecular assay development is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive execution on project goals by providing leadership to cross-functional teams.
- Create, execute, and communicate comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, resourcing, quality, risk, and budget.
- Schedule and lead phase gate reviews with executive stakeholders.
- Identify, resolve, and escalate project issues and facilitate tradeoff decisions.
- Ensure all development efforts adhere to internal processes and design control standards.
- Analyze and manage project risks to ensure successful completion.
- Define and optimize project management methodologies and tools to improve efficiency.
- Contribute to PMO functional improvement initiatives.
