Requirements
- Recent graduate or currently completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.6.
- Completion of mid-level finance and accounting courses.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a strong emphasis on data manipulation.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team player and handle new operational tasks and challenges.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, scrub, and organize large sets of financial records to ensure data integrity.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations for bank, revenue, and COGS accounts.
- Investigate and resolve financial variances and discrepancies.
- Provide general accounting support, including preparing journal entries and organizing month-end close documentation.
- Assist with financial modeling, statistical analysis, and budget/forecasting processes.
- Present data-driven recommendations based on analysis to the finance team.
- Support process improvement through the automation of routine reconciliation tasks.
