Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Legal Studies, Political Science, Business, Finance, or a related field (J.D. candidates welcome).
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with document management systems is a plus.
- Prior internship or coursework in compliance, legal research, or a related area is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and research emerging legal and regulatory developments in the fintech space, including consumer protection, payments, and financial services regulations.
- Organize, maintain, and archive company policies and procedures.
- Compile and analyze data to create reports identifying trends across departments that may carry legal or compliance implications.
- Test internal systems and workflows to verify compliance controls and document issues or gaps.
- Review marketing and advertising materials for legal and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Support teams on compliance-related initiatives.
- Assist with additional legal and compliance tasks and special projects.
