Requirements
- 5+ years shipping production software
- 2+ years in production AI/ML
- Able to implement optimizers from first principles
- Able to instrument gradient flow, learning-rate schedules, and regularization diagnostics
- Working fluency in probability and information theory (likelihood, entropy, KL divergence)
- Hands-on experience with Python, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Jupyter, and Docker
- Experience with cloud VM environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Familiarity with Weights & Biases and Modal
- Proven reproducibility discipline (pinned dependencies, containers, seeded runs)
- Public writing samples showing technical explanation
- Professional written English
