Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in product design in startup or fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience designing and launching products in complex or technical industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing).
- Ability to read and build with API documentation.
- Expertise in translating complicated processes, business rules, and edge cases into clear experiences.
- Ability to work independently and create structure in ambiguous environments.
- Strong proficiency in writing and contributing front-end code.
- Capability to communicate design decisions clearly across cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of auditability and regulatory constraints in design.
- Proficiency in user research, systems design, and prototyping.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from research and workflow discovery through prototyping, validation, design, implementation, and post-launch iteration.
- Build tools involving multiple user roles, data sources, business rules, approvals, exceptions, and audit requirements.
- Rapidly create functional prototypes for alignment across multiple stakeholders.
- Write and contribute code within production environments, including code review, testing, and deployment.
- Understand the needs of financial operations teams through interviews, workflow analysis, and usability testing.
- Design data-rich interfaces that help users monitor activity, investigate issues, and manage exceptions.
- Contribute to the design system by creating scalable patterns for tables, forms, dashboards, and AI-assisted interactions.
