Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience.
- Proven experience with at least one full implementation and post-go-live tenant ownership.
- Proficiency in core modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Banking & Settlement.
- Strong understanding of business process frameworks, configurable security, and financial data models (FDM).
- Expertise in reporting, including custom/matrix reports, calculated fields, and BIRT.
- Experience with SaaS systems integration patterns and APIs.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including period close, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
- Engineering mindset with disciplined testing, structured troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, capable of translating technical designs for non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Workday integration tooling (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, XSLT) is a plus.
- Familiarity with multi-entity, multi-currency, or multi-GAAP environments is preferred.
- Professional certification in Workday Financials or Integrations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the tenant technically, including configuration and business processes for GL, AP, AR, and bank connectivity.
- Transition ownership from the implementation partner, documenting and hardening the system for in-house operation.
- Design and build Workday integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, web services, and RaaS reports.
- Advise Accounting and Finance on system design and capabilities.
- Perform Tier 2/3 support, manage bi-annual Workday releases, and maintain configuration documentation.
- Build reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support financial decision-making.
- Act as the technical expert for system expansions, including HCM, treasury, and VAT reporting.
