Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the software engineering field.
- Strong people management skills with a focus on inspiring and motivating software engineering teams.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Problem-solving attitude acting as a servant leader for agile teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management.
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of actively driving processes to deliver quality outcomes.
- Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
- Experience in developing software in a regulated environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assess team needs, including hiring and onboarding new members within budget constraints.
- Motivate the team to deliver high-quality work in a healthy, sustainable environment.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and mentoring to support engineer growth.
- Drive high-quality software delivery in a regulated environment according to quarterly plans.
- Facilitate quarterly planning discussions between Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Product and Customer Operations to ensure product delivery.
- Report on development, quality, operations, and system performance status using predefined metrics.
- Implement and optimize agile software development methodologies and suggest cross-team process improvements.
