Requirements
- 5+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, DevEx, or SRE/operations engineering.
- Recent hands-on work applying LLMs/AI to real workflows.
- Experience building or productionizing AI-assisted developer tooling beyond off-the-shelf solutions.
- Experience building and operating automated or semi-automated agent workflows for engineering tasks.
- Experience building AI-assisted operations and observability capabilities on existing monitoring stacks.
- Strong coding skills in Python plus one of Java or TypeScript.
- Comfort operating in regulated environments including HIPAA, GxP, or FedRAMP.
- Knowledge of design guardrails, boundary/tenant separation, and auditability requirements.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to align with engineers, security, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate an internal AI platform for developer workflows including PR review support, test generation, and documentation.
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing toolchains such as CI/CD, code quality tools, and repositories.
- Implement AI quality gates including policy checks, confidence thresholds, and regression tests.
- Design for regulated environments by implementing logging, auditability, and access controls for HIPAA/GxP standards.
- Maintain FedRAMP-boundary-safe approaches for federal work and evaluate compliant AI tooling alternatives.
- Build AI-assisted operations for anomaly detection, incident triage support, and runbook-driven automation.
- Measure and communicate the impact of AI adoption on engineering throughput, cycle time, and incident metrics.
