Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Power BI, Power BI Service, and production semantic models.
- Experience with AI-assisted development and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Proficiency with Git, code review, CI/CD, and dev-test-deployment-production processes.
- Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, shared KPIs, and reusable data models.
- Ability to split business logic effectively between dbt/Snowflake and Power BI.
- Experience with Power BI security and access management.
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
- Strong proficiency in DAX and performance optimization.
- Practical experience with APIs and scripting using Python or PowerShell.
- Strong SQL skills and practical dbt experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end Power BI semantic models and reports.
- Build data models in dbt and Snowflake and implement business logic within the architecture.
- Optimize Power BI models, queries, and reports while resolving production issues.
- Support developers, perform code reviews, and mentor team members on BI best practices.
- Automate development, testing, deployment, and monitoring using APIs, scripts, CI/CD, and AI tools.
- Implement shared models and adapt central solutions to local market needs.
