Requirements
- Advanced practical experience with Power BI, Power BI Service, and semantic models.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, report optimization, and data modeling.
- Very good knowledge of SQL and practical experience with dbt and cloud data platforms like Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and logic distribution between dbt/Snowflake and Power BI.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric (semantic models, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Direct Lake, pipelines), Airflow, and Liquibase.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD processes, and full-cycle development environments.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python or PowerShell and using APIs.
- Experience with AI-assisted development and integrating AI agents with APIs.
- Understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design.
- Strong autonomy, pragmatism, and ownership of code quality.
- English language skills at B2/C1 level for international communication.
- Polish language skills at B2 level.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in a international Data/BI environment to adapt central models to local requirements.
- Act as a technical lead for BI development, balancing hands-on coding with technical oversight.
- Centralize business logic and KPIs in Snowflake and dbt while maintaining Power BI semantic layers.
- Develop and optimize end-to-end Power BI reports and semantic models.
- Implement automated development, testing, deployment, and monitoring using CI/CD, APIs, and AI tools.
- Provide technical mentoring, perform code reviews, and define best practices for the team.
- Identify optimization opportunities and resolve production issues.
