Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query/M).
- Advanced SQL proficiency.
- Experience designing semantic models and implementing row-level security.
- Familiarity with governance standards.
- Comfortable working in shifted/afternoon hours.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure (Azure SQL, Azure DevOps/CI-CD) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain Power BI semantic models including star schema, RLS, naming conventions, and documentation.
- Implement business logic and metrics using SQL according to client technical standards.
- Own the reporting requirements gathering process by translating business needs into scalable BI solutions.
- Communicate delivery status, risks, and technical decisions proactively.
- Manage the visualization/frontend layer with high autonomy while adhering to data standards.
- Contribute to CI/CD and deployment practices for BI assets using Azure DevOps.
