Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, or a closely related field.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Power BI, including advanced DAX, semantic models, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, complex transformations, stored procedures, and views.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling concepts, including star schemas, facts, dimensions, and slowly changing dimensions.
- Proven experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or comparable modern data platforms.
- Experience with data warehouse and/or lakehouse architectures and a practical understanding of Medallion Architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into practical, scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency is required.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions aligned with business, analytical, and reporting requirements.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, KPIs, performance measures, and reporting needs.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and advanced DAX measures.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and complex data transformation processes.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate information from multiple data sources.
- Work with Microsoft Fabric capabilities including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, pipelines, notebooks, and semantic models.
- Contribute to modern Medallion Architecture implementations across Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced BI professionals.
