Requirements
- Solid academic background in mathematics.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Master's degree or higher preferred).
- Experience using Zoom or similar video conferencing software.
- Comfortable managing a classroom in a virtual setting.
- Experience teaching or tutoring students at the K-12 level (experience with advanced students preferred).
- Ability to work with high-achieving and gifted students.
- Passion for student-led instruction and discussions.
Responsibilities
- Teach enthusiastic elementary, middle, and high school students in our online classrooms.
- Use our curriculum to teach participation-oriented classes that focus on instruction and developing skills, not on rote memorization.
- Work in small classes (average size 12) with top performing students who are passionate about learning and are motivated to succeed.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem solving.
- Manage classroom dynamics in a live virtual setting.
