Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, or similar functions.
- Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large datasets.
- Experience building visualizations with Tableau, Looker, or similar BI platforms.
- Proficient in communicating insights to business partners.
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and prioritize an analytics roadmap.
- Experience applying statistics and experiment design in a business context.
- Experience in at least one data-oriented language like Python, R, or Julia.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering).
- Preferred: Experience with a two-sided marketplace.
- Preferred: Experience applying causal inference, predictive modeling, or other advanced statistical methods.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with PED to set goals, understand user engagement, and learn from marketplace experiments.
- Develop measurement frameworks and institute new metrics or reporting systems.
- Align cross-functional stakeholders on the priorities and analytical roadmap.
- Design and analyze experiments.
- Analyze user behavior and marketplace dynamics.
- Unpack business trends and diagnose drivers of performance.
- Collaborate with Analytics and Data Engineering teams to foster a data-driven culture.
