Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, distributed systems, or backend architecture.
- 5+ years in an architect or senior technical leadership capacity, owning system design end to end.
- Strong experience architecting large-scale, production-grade software systems.
- Deep understanding of microservices, distributed systems, API design, and integration patterns.
- Strong programming experience in Python, Java, C#, C++, or similar languages.
- Experience designing systems in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and relational and non-relational data stores.
- Working knowledge of security, performance, observability, and cost as first-class architectural concerns.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end architectures for enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and distributed backend systems.
- Define system-level architectures spanning services, APIs, integrations, and data stores.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency across systems.
- Architect cloud-native and hybrid solutions including compute, networking, and storage.
- Provide architectural leadership and mentor engineering teams on best practices.
- Partner with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architectures.
