Requirements
- Practical knowledge of Power BI, Power BI Service, and semantic models.
- Advanced proficiency in DAX and report/model optimization.
- Strong SQL skills and practical experience with dbt.
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
- Understanding of dimensional modeling and reusable data models.
- Experience with Git, code review, CI/CD, and software development lifecycles.
- Practical use of APIs and scripting languages (e.g., Python or PowerShell).
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Proven ability to create readable reports and clean dashboard visualizations.
- Strong English language skills (C1 level).
- Ability to support and mentor other developers.
- Ownership mindset and pragmatic problem-solving approach.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop semantic models, reports, and Power BI solutions.
- Build data models in dbt / Snowflake and implement business logic.
- Optimize models, queries, and reports while troubleshooting production issues.
- Support developers in solving complex technical problems.
- Review models, code, and solutions to define implementation standards.
- Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Identify areas for refactoring, simplification, and process optimization.
- Automate development, testing, deployment, and monitoring tasks using APIs, scripts, and AI tools.
- Implement shared business logic and KPI definitions across multi-market products.
