Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with relevant professional experience in software testing or development.
- Programming experience in Python and/or Golang, with the ability to develop reliable test automation.
- Hands-on experience with the Pytest framework or comparable Python-based testing frameworks.
- Experience working with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, and REST APIs.
- Experience working with databases and SQL.
- Practical experience in Linux/Unix environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with performance, scalability, and distributed-system testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement feature-level test strategies and automation approaches for micro-segmentation and threat protection products.
- Own test execution and automation activities, ensuring comprehensive coverage, reliability, and repeatability.
- Identify and introduce appropriate testing tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and outcomes.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams in Agile environments on code reviews, design reviews, test plans, and automation framework reviews.
- Partner with development teams to improve release quality, testing processes, and overall product reliability.
- Conduct performance and scale testing to validate the behavior of distributed security solutions under demanding conditions.
- Participate in customer installations and product demonstrations, providing technical testing support when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and quality practices.
