Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial services, particularly within a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) environment.
  • 2–5 years of experience working with Orion or a comparable Portfolio Management System (PMS).
  • Working knowledge of financial systems and processes related to trading, reconciliation, billing, and client reporting.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and engage confidently with senior leadership.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with newly acquired firms through proactive communication and consistent stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive integration plans covering technology, operational processes, policies, timelines, dependencies, and key milestones.
  • Lead technology migrations, particularly platforms supporting operations, trading, client reporting, and portfolio management.
  • Coordinate the transition of critical operational functions, including billing, trading, reconciliation, and client portfolio management data.
  • Partner with internal teams and senior stakeholders throughout the acquisition and integration lifecycle to ensure smooth execution and timely issue resolution.
  • Design and deliver training for employees from acquired firms, helping them adopt new systems, workflows, and processes effectively.
  • Monitor integration progress, user adoption, and overall success through relevant KPIs, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
