Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a college junior, senior, or graduate student, or a recent graduate.
- Inquisitive, creative, and self-motivated mindset.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Interest in the principles of liberty.
- Experience with data analysis tools including Microsoft Excel, R, Python, GIS, or Stata.
- Ability to commit to the entirety of the online and on-site KIP programming.
- Available for part-time work, approximately 24 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with public officials to obtain public records.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data using Microsoft Excel, R, Python, GIS, or Stata.
- Conduct literature reviews on topics such as regulatory reform, housing supply, property rights, and coastal land rights.
- Develop internal data for litigation, communications, or legal policy campaigns.
- Write blog posts, op-eds, or one-pagers on topics relevant to Pacific Legal Foundation's work.
