Requirements
- Current PhD candidate status.
- At least one publication in top-tier ML venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
- Focus in a core technical area relevant to frontier models.
- Strong theoretical understanding of deep learning principles.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems principles.
- Proficiency in PyTorch.
- Experience with large-scale training infrastructure.
- Alignment with Protocol Learning mission.
- Professional-level English proficiency (written and spoken).
Responsibilities
- Conduct novel research in Protocol Learning with the explicit goal of publishing in tier-1 ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
- Pick a question that blocks Protocol Learning at scale and answer it through a scoped research project.
- Collaborate with senior scientists to produce a foundational paper.
