Requirements
- Active RN license (multi-state or Compact license preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical hospice or home health nursing experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical education, precepting, orientation, or staff development.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare hospice Conditions of Participation and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems (MatrixCare preferred).
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills for virtual and in-person settings.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent programs across markets.
- Master's degree in Nursing Education or Healthcare Administration (preferred).
- Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) (preferred).
- Experience with Relias or similar learning management systems (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the weekly New Employee General Orientation program virtually across all markets.
- Manage orientation logistics including scheduling, materials preparation, and coordination with HR and IT.
- Develop and deliver ongoing clinical education and competency development modules for seasoned clinical staff.
- Translate internal and external audit findings into actionable education plans for frontline clinicians.
- Partner with Clinical Directors to identify education needs and ensure standardized clinical documentation and protocols.
- Create and maintain clinical education materials, reference guides, and competency assessments.
- Support QAPI initiatives by delivering education related to active Performance Improvement Projects.
