Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering.
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and deploying effective ML-powered personalization or recommendation systems at scale.
- Strong programming skills with expertise in Python and SQL.
- Experience building data pipelines for feature engineering.
- Experience enhancing MLOps infrastructure for serving and monitoring models at scale.
- 1+ years of experience managing ML engineers and scientists, or equivalent IC Tech Lead experience with informal management responsibilities.
- Proven ability to lead a team through a technical roadmap from ideation to production.
- Strong collaboration skills for working with product leaders and software engineers.
- ROI-driven mindset capable of formulating business problems as machine learning tasks.
- Judgment to balance model complexity with business value and operational cost.
Responsibilities
- Serve as key DRI for the ML System powering the Personalization Engine.
- Own the machine learning lifecycle end-to-end including reliability, scalability, and model effectiveness.
- Lead engineering work across the full-stack ML lifecycle from MLOps infrastructure to sophisticated model training.
- Provide technical leadership through rigorous code and design reviews.
- Act as direct manager for machine learning engineers, supporting their professional growth and coaching.
- Improve the feedback loop to ensure autonomous model learning and adaptation to changing data.
- Partner with Product and Design teams to translate patient journey touchpoints into concrete ML problems.
