Requirements
- Experience shipping ML systems to production.
- Hands-on LLM work including prompting, retrieval, tool calling, and agent-style workflows.
- Rigorous approach to evaluation and building evaluation frameworks.
- Strong ML fundamentals and ability to reason about technical tradeoffs.
- Comfort working with ambiguity in production environments.
- Solid software engineering skills, production-quality code, and experience with distributed systems.
- Ability to debug complex ML pipelines.
- Clear communication skills for working with technical and clinical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own ML projects end-to-end from exploration through production deployment.
- Build agentic LLM systems with tool use, retrieval, and orchestration.
- Develop rigorous evaluation datasets, offline/online harnesses, and LLM-as-judge pipelines.
- Improve model quality via prompting, retrieval, distillation, or fine-tuning.
- Manage the full AI stack including data prep, serving, monitoring, and feedback loops.
- Translate clinical requirements into technical decisions in partnership with Product and Clinical teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team code quality.
