Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in software quality assurance with advanced knowledge of manual testing.
- Professional experience within the financial services or retirement industry.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including CRUD operations and multi-table joins.
- Experience testing web services using tools such as SOAP UI, Boomerang, or Swagger.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute comprehensive functional and non-functional test scenarios.
- Ability to lead, coach, and mentor other QA professionals.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management workflows.
- Strong understanding of test data preparation and management.
Responsibilities
- Apply advanced manual testing techniques, methodologies, and tools.
- Define comprehensive testing strategies for complex projects in collaboration with developers.
- Execute functional, cross-browser, exploratory, security, regression, and integration testing.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and coordinate with Scrum team members.
- Create test scenarios, execute test cases, and log defects using tools like Jira or TFS.
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria to provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
- Lead and mentor other QA professionals to promote consistent testing practices.
