Requirements
- Proven experience leading large-scale IT or software programs (multi-year, multi-million EUR budgets) with full budget and delivery accountability.
- Experience managing distributed, multinational teams and collaborating with external vendors or partners.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, particularly in complex stakeholder environments.
- High level of ownership and decisiveness, with the ability to operate independently and make informed trade-off decisions.
- Pragmatic, problem-solving mindset with a focus on outcomes.
- Practical knowledge of program and delivery frameworks (e.g. PMP, SAFe).
- Solid understanding of software delivery lifecycles (SDLC) and modern software engineering practices.
- Fluency in spoken and written English at C1 level.
Responsibilities
- Lead large, complex software programs for international clients, from initiation through full delivery, with end-to-end accountability for outcomes.
- Define and own program governance, including decision-making structures, escalation paths, and reporting frameworks.
- Oversee multi-stream program delivery, ensuring milestones are achieved within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.
- Manage dependencies and alignment across internal delivery teams and selected external partners.
- Proactively identify program-level risks, define mitigation strategies, and drive corrective actions.
- Establish and execute structured change management processes, ensuring full traceability between requirements, scope, budget, and contractual agreements.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, sponsors, and key internal stakeholders.
- Mentor and support Delivery Managers, ensuring alignment with program goals, delivery standards, and ways of working.
- Build and lead effective program teams, fostering transparency, accountability, and predictable delivery.
