Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in product-focused environments.
- Proven experience shipping reliable, high-quality applications using modern frameworks, APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Fullstack experience with a generalist mindset.
- Familiarity with infrastructure and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience with observability practices.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced growth.
- Ability to collaborate across timezones, specifically with early-morning windows for Europe.
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end software that brings Cherry into more practices and launch new products beyond BNPL.
- Make architectural decisions that shape Cherry's platform across frontend, backend, integrations, and infrastructure.
- Define and implement observability, monitoring, and metrics systems that make products safer, faster, and more reliable.
- Collaborate with product, design, data, and operations to deliver high-impact features.
- Experiment toward measurable outcomes.
